We’re looking for dedicated individuals to support adults and vulnerable people across various settings, including care homes, supported living, and community outreach.

You’ll provide emotional and practical support to help service users maintain independence, improve well-being, and lead fulfilling lives — all while working in a respectful, inclusive, and person-centred environment.

Experience

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a care or support role (voluntary or paid).
Full training and ongoing guidance provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, and mobility assistance.
  • Encourage service users to achieve goals and engage in meaningful activities.
  • Promote independence and safeguard the dignity and rights of every individual.
  • Record accurate and timely care notes and reports.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support.
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations or behaviours.
  • Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Skills Must Have

  • A naturally caring, patient, and respectful attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality principles.
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with service users.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is a plus (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Must be flexible with shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a DBS check.
