We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our growing care team. If you are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and want to work in a supportive, professional, and person-centred environment, this opportunity is for you.

You will play a crucial role in delivering hands-on care, supporting individuals with daily living tasks, and ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. Join us in setting a new standard for care excellence across healthcare settings in South West England.

Experience

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a care setting (hospital, nursing home, or domiciliary care).
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Support individuals with mobility and physical needs, using equipment as necessary.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients while promoting dignity and independence.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of care delivered.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, support workers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and infection control procedures at all times.

Skills Must Have

  • A caring, empathetic, and patient-centred approach.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emotional or stressful situations with professionalism.
